Dr Dolly Mittal is a general oncologist with sub-speciality interests in breast, colon, genito-urinary, gynaecological cancers and melanoma. Dr Mittal completed her specialist medical oncology training across multiple hospitals in Queensland, including The Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, Mater Hospital Brisbane, Redcliffe Hospital, Gold Coast University Hospital and Princess Alexandra Hospital. Prior to that, Dr Mittal undertook basic physician training at The Prince Charles Hospital.
Dr Mittal has also worked as a Research Fellow at Mater Cancer Care Centre, South Brisbane which is well known for providing high quality care to patients with breast and gynaecological cancers in Queensland. During her fellowship, she has been actively involved as a coinvestigator in most of the clinical trials and has gained an extensive knowledge in treating breast and gynaecological cancers. She is committed to providing high quality, evidence-based care to patients with solid organ malignancies with a focus on biological, targeted treatment and immunotherapies.
Throughout her career Dr Mittal has been actively involved in the training of medical students and medical trainees. Currently she holds a title of an Associate Lecturer at University of Queensland. She maintains an active involvement in research and has presented her work at several conferences and professional meetings.
